FitzVenture is a travel experience blending adventure, wellness, and cultural exploration. Our curated trips are designed to inspire an active lifestyle, immerse you in local culture, and provide unforgettable moments in stunning destinations.
2. Where is the trip taking place?
The trip takes place in Tepoztlán, Mexico a beautiful mountain town known for its rich culture, spirituality, and healing aura.
3. What are the trip dates?
The trip is scheduled for October 30 – November 3, 2025. Guests will arrive in Mexico City on October 30 and depart on November 3.
4. What’s included in the cost of the trip?
The trip price includes:
- Shared Double Bed Accommodations (4 nights)
- Airport Transfer to and from Mexico City
- 8 meals during the trip (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 4 dinners)
- Scheduled activities and excursions such as hiking, yoga classes and cultural experiences
- A welcome package with FitzVenture goodies
- Support from your FitzVenture Host and local guides
5. What’s not included in the cost?
You’ll need to cover:
- Your international flight to/from Mexico City
- Meal not specified in the intinerary
- Travel insurance (optional, yet highly recommended)
- Personal expenses like souvenirs, snacks, or alcoholic beverages
- Optional activities not listed in the itinerary
6. Do I need to be physically fit to attend?
This trip is designed for a range of fitness levels, and all activities are optional. While some excursions involve light to moderate activity (e.g. hiking), you can always choose to relax and enjoy the town at your own pace.
7. How do I get to Tepoztlán?
After arriving in Mexico City, you’ll take a scheduled 1.5 hour drive to Tepoztlán. You will take the same method back to Mexico City.
8. What should I pack?
A detailed packing list will be provided in your welcome package, but key items include:
- Layer clothing
- Swimwear
- Comfortable shoes for walking and hiking activities
- Sunscreen and bug repellent
- A reusable water bottle
9. Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost items.
10. Can I attend if I’m traveling solo?
Absolutely! FitzVenture is a great opportunity to meet like-minded travelers. We’ll match solo travelers in shared accommodations unless you prefer to upgrade to a private room (private rooms may be available at an additional cost).
11. Can I have a private room?
Private rooms may be available for an additional cost. If you’re interested in upgrading to a private room, please let us know as soon as possible. Availability is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis.
12. Can I bring a friend or a partner?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a friend or partner, but they must register as a participant of the FitzVenture trip. This ensures they have their own reservation and can fully participate in the group’s accommodations, activities, and meals. Non-registered guests cannot stay in FitzVenture accommodations or join group activities.
13. Will I have free time?
Yes, the itinerary includes scheduled activities as well as free time to explore, relax, or enjoy the town on your own.
14. How do I reserve my spot?
To reserve your spot, you must pay the $250 non-refundable deposit. Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot!
15. What’s the refund policy?
The deposit is non-refundable, and refunds for additional payments are based on a tiered structure. Please refer to our refund policy for full details.
