FitzVenture Terms and Conditions

By booking a FitzVenture trip, you agree to following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth experience for all participants and to protect both travelers and the organizer. Please read carefully.

1. Payment Terms
   • A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure your spot on the trip.
   • The remaining balance must be paid in full by May 1, 2025.
   • Payments can be made via Credit Card or Debit Card. Late payments may result in forfeiture of your reservation.
   • All Payments must be completed before the trip begins.
2. Refund Policy
   • Refunds for payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) are offered on the following schedule:
     • 100% refund (minus deposit) if cancelled by February 15, 2025.
     • 50% refund (minus deposit) if cancelled between February 16 and March 15, 2025.
     • 30% refund (minus deposit) if cancelled between March 16 and April 15, 2025.
     • No refunds will be provided for cancellation after April 15, 2025.

3. Trip Inclusions and Exclusions
   • Included in the Trip Price:
     • Accommodations (shared double rooms).
     • Meals as specified in the intinerary.
     • Local transportation (e.g., domestic flights, ferries, and group transfers for excursions as specified in the itinerary).
     • Schedules activities and excursions listed in the itinerary.
     • FitzVenture welcome package.
   • Not Included in the Trip Price:
     • International flights to and from Belize City.
     • Travel Insurance (strongly recommended).
     • Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, snacks, alcohol)
     • Optional activities not listed in the itinerary.
4. Physical Requirements
   • FitzVenture trips include activities such as walking, biking, snorkeling, and other physical movements. By booking, you acknowledge that you meet the fitness and mobility requirements to safely participate in these activities. If you have any medical concerns, please consult with your doctor before registering.
5. Travel Insurance
   • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all participants. It should cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or stolen items. FitzVenture is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance.
6. Itinerary Changes
   • The itinerary is subject to change based on weather, availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. FitzVenture will make every effort to notify participants of significant changes and provide suitable alternatives.
7. Liability Disclaimer
   • By participating in a FitzVenture trip, you agree to assume all risks associated with the activities. FitzVenture is not liable for:
     • Injuries, illnesses, or accidents during the trip.
     • Lost, stolen, or damages property.
     • Delays or disruptions cased by third-party providers or unforeseen events.
   • A signed liability waiver is required to participate in the trip.
8. Media Release
   • By attending this trip, you grant FitzVenture the right to use any photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and marketing materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the trip begins.
9. Room and Travel Companions
   • Accommodations are based on shared double rooms unless a private room upgrade is requested (additional fee applies, subject to availability).
   • Guests may not bring non-registered participants to stay in FitzVenture accommodations or join group activities. All participants must have their own reservations.
10. Behavior and Termination of Participation
    • FitzVenture reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip if their behavior jeopardizes the safety, comfort, or experience of the group. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
11. Governing Law
    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America. Any dispute arising from participation in FitzVenture trips shall be resolved under these laws.
